i mean i'm only 16 and my mom probably wouldn't like the idea of my driving up to schamberg to meet a bunch of strangers.

not to mention it is HOT.

and also i'm way too used to waking up at 2pm nowadays

ps: Anyone interested in doing a local meet, not too fancy but we could just meet at like Krispy Kreme in Vernon Hills, IL. Then we could just spend an hour or two meeting other mazda owners and seeing theyre cars, like the meet that just happened but not so big. Anyone interested that lives in the area email me!! The meet was cool even though I was only there a short time. Sorry i had to ditch so soon everyone it was a great pleasure to meet you all and I really hope to make it to the next one. Taryn is doing better now. I took her to game works to cool down then she slept the two hours back to school. She said she is sorry and hopes the next one she can attend with me.

i ahd a great time today guys. thanks.... the tree hugger cop made it all the more interesting. i gues when they cant stop picnic table theft they harass import lovers. :-)

The meet was great. 12 cars, lots of food (once Kory finally got the grill started), 1 big-head cop, 6 cars without front license plates, 2 picnic tables hijacked by wayward White Jeep, 98 degrees, 1 wet pit bull, 5 coolers of drinks, 28 half-deflated pink balloons, 20? Protege Club stickers, 4 ungratefully rude birthday party crashers, 5 Protege 5's, 1 First Gen, 2 Second Gen, 1 MP3, 3 Third Gen's, 1 sick girlfriend (Glad she's feeling better Tim!), 10 Starbucks coffees, 1 little white lie to the police, and...

1 unforgettable meet!

Conrad...great job with the organizing, stickers and banner. You were definitely the MVP of this meet.

Kory, thanks for the tunes and the advice.

Thanks to the "long-distance" guys for making the drive out. It was great to have you there.
