Anyone in the Chicago area interested in starting a Protege Club?

There used to be 10-12 Pro's that met regularly, but we've been quiet lately. Keep posting and maybe we could get things going again...

s'up guys... i'm just south of chicago.. pete.. how is it going man? haven't seen you in forever.. let me know if you all get together... i'm not on this board much.. the other one has a lot more active 2nd genners so i tend to stay there but i check over here on ocassion.... oh i may be tradin my pro in for an mx-3... we'll see. but hopefully i can still hang with you all :)

I'm from Wisconsin but I might consider travelling to a g2g in Chi-town after my car is a little less.... stock :)

Dang, Pat, I'm sorry to hear that. I'm wondering what the good news from my insurance will be in a couple of weeks...I had a little run in with a trooper this summer (hey, 90 in a 65 isn't THAT bad. :D )

Tim (protegeboy78)...I am on this board occasionally. Work was crazy up until last week. I should have a bit more time for the car now (and the web) so I expect I'll be checking in here more.

Lets organize a meet, I say we shoot for March 6th (Saturday) and try to do it someplace where we can be warm. That should give enough time to notify everyone and get a good response.

Let me know what you all think.

Pete and I did this event last year; it was a LOT of fun. (Others from here were supposed to show up, but weren't able to make it.)

Lots of fun test-driving all the Mazdas, and of course dodging those cones.
