I myself live in Skokie.
But I spend most of my time around Wrigleyville(my work).

 

Hey--Seems like most of the active members here actually live in the suburbs, but I live on the north side myself (Belmont/Lake Shore).

We've had several meets this summer (so far all have been in the suburbs, though). You should try to make the next one.

Plans are being made in the Capp4 thread (CAPP=Chicago-Area Protege Picnic). Keep checking back!

There's actually quite a few Pro Owners in Chicago area, but i'm startin to see proteges everywhere.. I'm no longer the only Pro Owner at my work.. I need to get some pen and paper and start taggin cars... There's even a 2nd gen that some guy just bought that lives down the street from me........

 

By the way a good friend of mine just opened a shop in Arlington Heights on Davis St. It is just down the road from 3com off of Central road.

He pretty much sells everything at real good prices.

Any "tuner shops" that have a retail front? Something that has interior accessories on display (and not just the 1 glass front cabinet against the wall). I was looking for something along the lines of a store the size of pepboys, that sells import stuff.

 

There is the Drivers Image in skokie. Not as big as pepbos ,but then again it's got more then one wall.

I'm sure others know of more places to visit.

There is also two Car Botiques stores but they are far from me and I can't even recall what suburbs they are in. I can find out for you if you want.

In Evanston there is also a small import parts store called 'Evolution'.
