The dunes shouldn't be more than a few hours for north chicago area people. It will be about 3 hours or so for me but a lot closer than the 5 plus hours to the chicago area meets for me. still a bit of a drive for ohio people though, if they decide to come. The dunes are a pretty cool place though and easy for everyone to find.

The Dunes are fine with me, as long as somebody gives me VERY good directions. Last time I tried to go to the Dunes, we got lost in Gary, and my friend who was driving turned in front of a truck, which smashed his rental car, and the cops had to come, and it's a very long story, but we never got to the Dunes.

The other thing is: that means one of you IN boys will have to find the location and make the arrangements. You up for that?

Well everybody, I'm back from my vacation, unfortunately a speeding ticket came with it...... 81 in a 65 the best part was that they used laser from atop a bridge and got me, and my radar/laser detector didn't go off..... The cop even asked me if it went off and I said no, and he said they don't work anyway........ I was pissed........

OK, when you say the dunes do you mean Indiana, or Michigan???? I went to the Micigan dunes last month and it took 3and a half hours to get there with stand-still traffic for 2 of those hours, but it only took an hour and a half to get back..... I think it'd be cool to meet at the dunes.....

dunes and stuff

Sorry for my lack of posts lately, our baby boy was finally born! 9/3/02 @ 11:58pm. 7 lbs 11 ozs, 20" long. Cameron "future Protege owner" is finally here!

Dunes will probably count me out for the next meet due to responsibilities here at home, but I can help with email addresses and stuff if needed.

Glad to see some new people are getting involved. Bijou-MP5...all Pro-owners are welcome with modded or un-modded cars.

Regards,

Pete

OMG...you guys are making me choose between cars and computers. I have a gaming even to attend Friday night until like 7 AM on saturday morning. The only way I'll be home on the 21st is if I have a date with a girl that I'm seeing from home. If I do come up, I'll be so out of it you guys will think I'm drunk. In any case you gotta let me know where this thing is gonna be held. I can't really think of any good places besides the dunes. My question is, are the dunes still gonna be open?

I jsut looked on the IN DNR website and it says that they are open year round. the fee per car is 5 $ for outta state and 4 $ for IN plated vehicles. i think that would be a wonderful place to meet up and have a lil bit of protege fun. and it is close for a lotta ppl and there will be places to sit and gather and talk.
hopefully we can all meet.
lemme know. arul

Still no location

So are we deciding on the Indiana Dunes for the Next meet? If so, I need to see a map so I can tell how far it is. Being that I am the farthest west of all of us.
Pete Congratulations again man.
