2014 front license plate placement

I hate the front license placement on my new 2014 Mazda3. Does anyone have any ideas how to remove it from the grill.

Phillips screwdriver. Unscrew the whole thing. Simple.

This may not work for your car, but damn, what a cool idea. You get up to speed and it tilts up, opening up the front end for more airflow. Slow down to a stop and it pops back into place so the cop doesn't hate.
