I can do one on how to replace the fuel pump suction filter, complete with pictures. Only rub is it will have to wait until I am home due to the limitations of my current 'Net access. I have also replaced all my suspension (including the front/rear sway bars) but alas no pics as I was garageless at the time trying to get it done.

Oh, and Boostd7, if you find mispellings in anything I write I will hang my head in shame!

I'm assuming for your Pro not your MS6? At what mileage did you need to change the filter?

I posted one the other day, pics and all, but I don't even think it's got any views much less replies.

I saw it :)

It was on my gf's '99 Pro ES w/1.8l. Same as for the 2.0l cars. I was a little late, did it around 109,000 miles. Many people say you don't have to but since I was doing all the other fun stuff (timing belt/water pump/other belts/thermostat/etc) I figured why not. It is a fairly simple task.

I can also tell how to replace the fuel filter on an '81 RX-7. Easy except for the fuel that runs down your arm. Whoops, wrong forum!

Yeah I recall our fuel filter being "lifetime" but with crap winter blend gas and all the other things Mazda Japan didn't exactly plan for (re: my yet again rusting rear fenders), I'd rather be safe than stranded.

^ i changed mine not too long ago, very dirty. i know, should have wrote a how-to.

Since no one else mentioned it in this thread.. Alejo, you do know that there are separate how-to and tech article subforums of this forum, right? As of right now this main forum is for requests, but it'll be reorganized to make the actual how-tos easier to get to soon :) .. check the how-to subforum though, there's actually quite a few in there. I've only cleaned up the first page of it, so beware of pages 2 and 3, I give no warranties on their contents ;)

The one I did wasn't too bad, some discoloration but that is to be expected. I made sure the tank was low so I could see the bottom, it was pretty clean as well. Guess we have decent gas in my area.

Anyway, if no one beats me to it I'll post one up when I get home. I could do the write-up now, but as we all know, it would be WWP.
