Putting Together a Meet? Nor Cal Area
 

I would like to put together a meet for all of the Protege 5 owners in or near the Santa Cruz County area. If this sounds like a good idea then post and we will all decide on a meeting place that is convenient for all of us.

What about sedans hu? I have the MazdaSpeed, and dont pay attention to the Hawaii thing I am returnng to Sacramento in July and wouldnt mind getting into a car club

really im originally from greenfield only 30 min south of salinas
i would be down to meet up in santa cruz. hopefully i have my
93 lx running by then because its getting a heart transplant (bpt)
but it should be spooling in the next 2 weeks just let me know

would like to meet other owners in bay area for drives and tech discussion. Live in south bay, willing to drive next agroup get together. Recently bought a new mazdaspeed protege. Just starting to have fun with it. Not sure what build # it is but like to know how to find out. It is stock besides the mazda speed pkg. but looking forward to drastic tuning soon. been easy on the gas except for few encounters misc. makes such as mustang,mp3,civics, and 1 ford lighting that couldnt keep up on the twisties but had me straightaways at40+. Would like to change that. Feel free to reply.

Hey I wanna meet up also ...haha I'm kind of late but yea i wanna meet up. I just moved up North to Fremont and I think I know where SC is so yea hopefully you guys can tell me where to meet up. FYI: We Bay Area Proteges have a semi-weekly meet at Krispy Kreme in Mountain View on the 1st and 3rd wednesdays of each month. We usually meet between 7 and 8, hang out checking each other's cars for awhile, then go for a drive.

If anyone's interested in coming along, post here or the Hwy 9 thread on the other forum, and maybe we can all hook up!

5 months later...I wonder if we'll ever organize a meet in the Bay Area

There's a drag race and carshow at Sacramento raceway this Oct. 2-3. Im going to run my car on the 3rd (sunday) if you guys want to go im bringing 4 of my friends....see you guys there!

i think it is 15 bucks to on wednesday night at the sac raceway. come to think of it it is every wednesday.

well since i just read this post im really late, i also live in morgan hill and go to deanza. i also love bear creek and hwy 9. if anybody is up for a meet sometime this winter im down. i feel like trying to slip and slide down 9 if the snow falls. I know most everybody has msp around here but im a p5. so if all of you wait up for my slowness we could cruise someday.

We're meeting tonight at 8:30. If anyone wants to join us, post here and I'll PM you the details. :)
