UPDATE!
Spoke with the park today. Camp sites are $17.60 a piece per night. They allow two tents per site and 4 people total per site. All sites have water and electricity if you'd want to bring a fan/radio/ps2 whatever. $17.60 / 4 = $4.40 a night per person. Most people will only stay Saturday night but I'll be staying friday and saturday night. I think you GA gays can easily make ot friday night seeing how close it is to the border on I-20.
I'm still holding a raffle for the Mazdaspeed Hat and a set of New katrtboy shifter bushings. tickets are $2 each or $3 for 2. Drawing will be on Sunday morning so you'll want to be present to claim your prize.

The pavillion is on the lake. I was told to expect some other locals who may come up for fishing or whatever.... The place I reserved is identical (iirc) to the spot we had at Oak Mountain. It's on a dirt road and we'll be parking between trees and so forth. There are larger parking lots where we can get group photos and what-not.
I tried making an agenda for the last meet and it got all shot to hell. I figured we'll have a rough outline of the day like this:
Friday night -- Setting up tents, marshmallow roast
saturday -- people arrive, we grill for several hours
saturday night -- possible caravan to Steele 1/4mile drag strip (weather/interest permitting)
Sunday -- grill up some lunch again, raffle for items (should take like 2 minutes) and group photos.
The pavilion DOES have power and water there so we may work something out about a GT4 tournament if thats cool.

Ok...so no car in the dirt...lol.
BTW, I'll be coming up to your house on Friday...will you be working that day? If so lemme know, I'm taking all of Friday off anyway. I'll just tag along, beacuse I have no idea wtf the park is at. I'm guessing we are bringing our own food...like dogs/burgers/steaks whatev, correct?
My PS2 will already be in the car....but I don't really feel like lugging around a tv...but I might just so we can run the tourney on 2 screens instead of one. Whatcha think?

I'll most likely take friday off as well. At least a half day. The park is a little over 1.5 hours from my house. I'd like to get there before sundown so I can set up shop and check out the site for the next morning. I'm also going to need to find a local store so we dont have to keep food in coolers all weekend.
I'll be buying food again (looks like)..so expect the same old, box burgers, superdogs, chips.....I may be able to get a couple of cases of bottle water also but it may be a good idea for interested people to bring coolers and ice just in case.

Matty...ever had 'Drunken Chicken'? It's fawking good man..I made it last night...it was 100% on point. Between 3 ppl an entire chicken was gone in about 15 minutes....actually 2 ppl...my friend's wife only had 1/2 of a breast. So I might grill that up there...it's cheap ($4.xx) for a whole chicken and I have tons of beer at the house....maybe I'll make some Jamaican Jerk Chicken too...since you missed out when you went on vacation.

i've had drunken chicken, it's alright bu not my favey. Also, I'm fairly sure alcohol is prohibited in the park so anything you bring in is at your own risk.
Barry, I've still got conkers on N64....one of the best games ever made. I saw the reveiws of the xbox version and they said it was only good because it made the original version look better, the multiplayer was junk (according to them). I'll probably pick it up though. I loved the original.
