thats what I'm saying... I tried very hard to get as many people here as possible but it isn't as high on everyone elses priority list as it is on mine.

I look forward to this all year....its dissappointing to think your friends dont want to come out and spend time with you.

If it wasn't this weekend I'd do it, totally serious. I'm still burnt from the 16 hour drive home from the auxone meet. I don't know why it seems like barely anyone is willing to make a long drive for Mazda meets, it's not like we're as prevalent as the Toyota Camry where any given town could have a meet with like 800 cars if they wanted (you know.. if there was such a thing as an enthusiast driving a Toyota).

I can understand someone from Florida and Conneticut not making the drive but someone 1.5 hours away thats had a 3 month notice??

I take it as an insult...probably too personally.

It'll be fun dude. Just don't dwell on the numbers. Quality > quantity, right? (probably not helping....)

Side note: OMG the GACC / FAGMOB smiley!

its not that i don't want to come, and i know we had three months, but **** always seems to come up when i want to do something. i mean i was supposed to come to alabama wednesday night pick up my miata and stay with my grand dad until friday. now i have to help my sister with some dumb baseball team party my mom had surgery the friday before last and was supposed to be better by this past weekend, but shes not. so i'm going to stay home to make sure shes ok. so i might come to bham late sat. night and get my miata then maybe i could meet up with everyone or something sunday.

i'll be there i have to work friday... (we are breaking away from the domain forest) so the migration will take some time. i'm suppose to be there all weekend, but i'm the security specialist... not the damn network admin... so they should have that covered. and even if they don't... they can all go to hell, i've had this planned for a while

matty... what time are you heading up there friday? i might want to follow you if i can get out of work early enough...

I don't think it's personal Matty - I think that life just interferes with the plannings.

I reserved the pet sitter for Friday night, Saturday and Sunday to the tune of $119.00. Oy...

I'll PM you the food suggestions I've been working on today.

I'm really looking forward to this weekend.

And I definitely appreciate the shade that will be provided by the pavillion! You know how redheads/daywalkers/gingerkids burn easily.

breaking away from the domain forest? have a ****** blast man haha.

Just tell them you can be 'on call' but can't physically come in or somethin.

JA -- ouch, didn't realize pet sitters were so pricey! I should get into that business, I love animals. Hell, bring your animals to me and I'll watch them for 5 dollars..

you've got a P5, just throw them in the back (worst wagon for pets to hang out in evAR with that rear glass slope) and take them with you. State park = fun for doggies = entertainment for everyone win-win

They'll be better off at home. Rocky is an older boy and can't be outside for all day...and Maisy would either be playing 75# lapdog or be barking at anyone acting goofy...which would equal a lot of barking.

JA, I need to get a menu from you so I can go shopping. I'm picking up charcoal, plates, silverware, drinks (bottled water mostly), aluminum foil, canned veggies, 15lbs of hamburger meat, etc
