March 23rd Meet in Charlotte
 

I know alot of people had asked off for the 23rd and because I didn't get off my butt and get the location fast enough it was scraped. Well Protege King (Danny) and I would like to get that meet back off the ground. The location has been secured, time and date will remain the same.


Where: UNCC parking lot (# 4)
When: Sunday March 23rd
What time: 2:00pm (changed from 1pm)
Who is invited: Everybody

Just to let you know this is not a Promazda event nor is it a NCPOC event, this is a get-together with people of like interest. I am also a member of the Probe owners Club and I would assume some of them will come too.

The Rules: We are restricted to the parking lot we are in and it is not huge so that means, no burnouts, no loud music, if you want to go street racing, do it somewhere else. I am responsible and I don't have a problem telling anyone to leave if they are being obnoxious.

Directions: Comming from I-85 either direction take the Mallard Creek Ch Rd. exit (comming from the north go over the bridge, there is one extra stoplight you will go through) (comming from the south don't cross the bridge) You will go about 3-4 miles and cross 2 stoplights the entrance to the parking lot is about 100 yards before you reach the University City Blvd. intersection. The entrance is on your right. There are plenty of signs directing you and if you get lost call my cell 704-699-2936

2 Quick Points:
 

1. As some of you have noticed, the website is not sending out notifications when someone posts to a thread. So just check this thread for updates.

2. The parking lot being used for the meet needs to be respected. It just needs to be left looking the same way when we leave it as it is when we get there. So basically no HellRaising.

Sorry ya'll!! I won't be able to make it after all. I will be putting on my air bag suspension that weekend. I have to have it on before a BIG show in Atlanta in april and so i can start the stereo install. Maybe next time. By then the car should be DONE and i can show it to all of you.

Ok as some of you guys may have noticed I updated the parking lot number to #4, this is true but misleading, there are no signs that tell you which lot it is due to the recent construction of the east deck.

Therefore I will inform you that when you take the directions i have provided, it will me nearly impossible to miss the correct parking lot, because it is so close to the road you will see my car for a few hundred feet before the entrance.

and yall will see me as well :)

I'll be there, are we having a picinic or going to a restaurant? I need to know should I bring food or money for food.

Going to the beach
 

Well, i defiantely won't be there. I've decided to go down to the beach with my boys for the weekend. If i stay i'll be the only one not to go and i don't want to miss anything. I will catch the next for sure though. Oh yeah, i'm FINALLY ordering my wheels today:D

I have brand new mp3 mats still in box for 50.00 Plus I will sell my MP3 badges for an extra 100.00, but if you only want mats it's cool also I have an extra set of mp3 mats for regular use 15.00 for 75.00 bucks you can have one for show one for go. Let me know danny what you want to do i will have them at the meet.

I think we will just fend for ourselves, there is a US Subs and an Arby's across the street, along with about 1,000 other choices in the area. It is going to be very hard to coordinate that many people with one choice. I say go get what you want and come back.

Anything you can think of is within 2 miles of where we will be.

Aight, thats cool. I know the area pretty good and yeah there is just about anything you can think of on harris blvd and 49.

i was wondering, what parking lot is it exactly in ? ... and how will i go about gettin there from ballantyne area, im from miami so im not familiar with NC at all

unfortunately, im not going to be able to make it. my amp decided to burn up my alternator and battery this morning. so ill be replacing those tomorrow. sorry guys.:(

take 485 toward 77, north 77 then north 85......take the 29/49 exit (on the right), and follow the traffic merge, as soon as it merge, get onto the right lane, and take the next exit on the right, now ur on 49 (univ. city blvd.)

if u went the correct way, u should be heading down the hill, there should be plenty of shops, like office depot, target, petsmart etc. on the right, and home depot, circuit city, marshalls etc. on the left.

stay on 49, go under the bridge and start to head up the hill. u will pass UNCC campus' main entrance on the left.....after the entrance light, the next light (this should be ur 5th light total after u got on 49), take a left, the road is called MALLARD CREEK RD., there will be a 76 gas station on ur right after u take this left, take the 1st left entrance into the UNCC campus parking lot, and the 1st lot on the left is where we will be......u can see this lot from mallard creek rd.

this is to let everyone that showed up at the meet today, you guys are great! I really had fun and it was awsome getting to know the faces behind the cars. We have got something special going here, and hope to see you guys again soon. Make sure to post up and let Dzack know if your gonna be @ the meet next week. Post up in the Promazda thread so we can get a head count. If you weren't able to make this one today, you can meet us @ the next. Good luck to you guys!
