any Winnipeger's here?

Howdy from Winnipeg! There's only two people in the city with MP3's and I know both of them. I'm wondering if there's any MP5 owners on here. If so, what have you done to your cars? Also, how come you people don't come out to autox?!? I've only seen one or two MP5's (once) and two sedans there.

from winnipeg

Hows it going fellow winnipeger....

I have a yellow P5. It has the windows tinted, a ractive performance muffler, alpine security system, and a MAZDASPEED decal on the front windshield. I was actually planning on getting an MP3 until they became sold out in the city......what about your ride? Also, is there a protege club in winnipeg which i can be apart of? If not, is there enough people interested in starting one.

Hey all,

I gonna be looking for my first car shortly, and the P5 is tops on my list! Just wondering if I should go for a 2002 when they start to clear them out, or opt for a 2003 (Ponders when they will be out)...

About the only other car I'm looking at is the Focus ZX3. There is pretty much nothing else that I can afford (drools about the thought of getting a Mustang)....

Personally, I'd go with a 2002, especially if money's an issue... face it, you're getting a NEW car regardless and I don't think there's any significant changes from 2002 to 2003. I have an '02 and am quite pleased with it. Wait till September when the '03s come out and bargain on an '02.

Hey not a bad idea GoBlues! Was kinda thinking of waiting until next month to buy, now me thinks it would really would make sense (cash wise).

I test drove the P5 over the weekend twice; ST and then the AT. Surprisingly I found the ST was easy to drive and a lot more enjoyable than the AT (previous to this I had very little experience driving stick). Hell I never even stalled it at all (though I did give it a little bit to much gas at the dealers and squeled the tires

I wanna get a Red or Blue P5, with AC, moonroof, and ST (of course).

Then I'm gonna wanna look at a new sterio that will have no probs playing mp3's! Gonna be cool!

Now I just gotta go test drive the Focus for a comparison!

Ya, as a testament to the quality of our newspapers here, that story made the front page. Talk about lame!

Hey,

Another Protege5 hopefull here. Right now I'm driving a '94 Chevy Blazer Tahoe and it has GOT to go... It's in great shape, but the cost of maintenance is just stupid [not to mention the fuel efficiency]. I wanted to replace it with another SUV, but when I found out how inexpensive the MP5's are I almost had a heart attack! I've had it bad for these cars since I first saw them... I can't wait. Just holding off until the 2003's are out so I can get a good deal on a 2002

Can I get some opinions on the best Mazda dealership to visit? Anyone deal with an outstanding salesman [Heh] ?
