Hey everybody! I thought I'd post a picture of my new ride, a 2002 Protege ES - Shimmering Sand Mica, ES Premium package, CD/Cassette, Wheel Locks, Moonroof deflector, etc.... I purchased my Protege at Rohrich Volkswagen - Mazda in Pittsburgh last Tuesday (July 9, 2002). It had 10 miles on it when I picked it up and just rolled over 500 miles today on the way home from work. I originally had my heart set on purchasing a Sunlight Silver Protege ES, but changed my mind when I got to the dealership and saw the Shimmering Sand Mica one sitting right there in the showroom. Anyways, here is a pic of my new ride.

I've tried for a damn week to get one single picture of my new ride to show up on this website. I've even asked for help from the other members of this website. I've followed the directions from other members EXACTLY, but NOTHING!!!!!! I opened a photo album with pics of my car on www.imagestation.com and tried to post a pic on THIS website linking it to the imagestation website... NOTHING!!! I opened another album on www.picturetrail.com and also linked the pic on THAT website to THIS website.... NOTHING AGAIN!!!! What am I doing wrong?? Why doesn't my pic show up? What image hosting websites will work on this website? What image websites does everybody else use????

 

All i did was right ckicked it and copied and pasted the location and it worked for me.

Nice ride, what are you going to do to it first?

What ISP do you have? I use my alloted 10MB of free webspace to post images on here. Most places like ImageStation, Geocities, etc do not allow remote linking because it eats up their bandwidth on their servers.

 

I have nTelos.net. It's a small cellular phone/internet service provider company here in Northern WV. I'm not sure whether I have any free web space or not. I'll have to check on that.

I just figured something out. If you right click on the BLANK square where the pic is supposed to be and click on properties. Then cut and paste the address of the picture in a NEW window, the pic will show up. Sorry. I'll get this figured out someday!!
