heY..how did u/ and how long did it take u to paint ur calipers?

 

I put the front up on a professional jack and took the front wheels off. I covered the rotors with newspaper and put three coats of high gloss red engine paint on them. Then I put a coat of clear enamel on them to give them that glossy shine. Then you do the same thing for the back.
Make sure you find a good place to place the jack, don't use the spare tire holder, it'll colapse.
All in all it took a couple hours, but it really makes a difference.

 

Damn, looks the same as mine (except silver)... Just painted my calipers last week (Red of course) and put on my MP5 badges last week too. I put mine in front of the doors though....

I guess great minds to think alike.

 

noticed you dont have the amber bumper lights. did you jsut get that shaved or get those holes filled in? what exactly did you do and how much did they run you

I have a Blue p5 and painted my calipers yellow this weekend...

I just got some high temp engine paint and painted them with a brush... that way you get no overspray on your car...

 

Yeah, I don't have the amber lights, because I had to have the bumper replaced, because I thought that I was Mario Andretti. I didn't like the lights(who of us does?), so I had an MP3 bumper put on.
