Newbie P5 owner.
I just wanted to say hello to all the P5 owners in Edmonton. I just picked up my midnight blue yesterday. I was wondering if anyone knows of any good places to get the windows tinted and how much they should be tinted. What kind of mods has everyone got and where did you get them done. Any other tips or advice for a new owner would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the group, I know you will find that the guys/girls here are full of useful info. As for tint, if you go back a few posts in this section (West Canada) Aero Car Parts on 50th st were offering a deal to the members of the board. Do a search for the poster with the handle of sonabi. I believe he quoted a price of $205 to do a P5 including the front windows. I had my eyebrow and moonroof done there and I was very happy with the service.
Also, some of the other local members have got their tint done at European Auto Tint (I think that is the name) and were also quite happy. They are located on Gateway near Weber Motors.
So I guess you can shop around for prices but be careful where you get it done as I recently had to get mine totally redone but that was a dealer problem and did not cost me anything.
By the way we just had a mini meet in St. Albert tonight so maybe next time you can join us.

well I have always found that the man with 99% of the answers out there for the edmonton area seems to be 90&00 Protege, he seems to know everyone in this town and the best places for alot of stuff, and he is so gosh darn nice (the truth and also sucking up to a admin..

You can try THE TINT FACTORY. Talk to Dave Barkley, he is one of the best tinters in town and a good buddy of mine. He does all the tinting for the dealers on the west end. He also does color tint and mirrored tint. Dave also did the 3M hood protectin on my P5.
