where are all the Protege's at????

okay....what is going on? where are all the proteges at? are people hiding them? I just drove over half way across the country....1923 miles through the heartland of the US....and along the way I saw only ONE 2nd gen, TWO 3rd gen sedans and only THREE P-5's......of course I would have needed a calculator to keep track of all the "CIBICS".....geeeeez......well I had my cards with me and tagged one of the sedans as I saw it in a parking lot when we stopped along the way....none the less....I was amazed at how few proteges I saw on that long of a trip.

There are no MP3's in my town, and I have only seen 1 or 2 in the past few months and I commute regularly to a big city. P5's seem to be a bit more popular down here, but ofcourse, they are used as family wagons My GF drove about 60 or so miles one day and said she counted over 100 Honda's. Crazy stuff.

i see protege's every day here. there are three that i know of around my neighborhood... all family cars from the look of it. a couple by my work, including a white one with rims that i havent been able to tag yet. there's a couple sedans that chill at the spot we meet at every wed and sun night, plus one blue mp3 that chills there. and i've seen a few mp3's riding around, with different drivers. colorado seems to have quite a few.

Very few Proteges in Chicago, especially when compared to the number of Jettas and Civics.

Damn, I'm sick of Jettas and Civics.

come to hawaii. yellow is a limited color as long as you're not in f#cking hawaii! there are 5 yellow p5's in my small town, and a couple other colors as well. what's funny is that even tho i love my wagon, i'm tired of seeing everyone else's...

maybe they should move to the mainland so sir nuke can get a head count on his next trip!

I usually see about 2-4 P5's a day on my way to work, and a few more if i go out afterwards and hang with my budd's.

But i don't see any modded P5's, most i see the drive is some older person.

Besides my P5, there are only two others in my hometown and no MP3s that I know of. As for Proteges I see alot of them driving around, but not half as many as civics or jettas.

Smile May the Aztecs R.I.P.

I just can't believe I STILL see Pontiac Aztecs on the road! I thought they were exterminated a while back, no?!?

Plenty of P5s around here in Austin, Texas. I've seen one or two MP3s before. Ah, yes... two blue ones in town for sure. One is a female owner who bought the freaking color from the same dealership a week before I was able to make a jump for it (dealer told me this, but I've seen her drive to the dealership on the opposite direction before ). The other, a guy who just so happened to be visiting someone in my apartment complex one night. I was late meeting up with friends that night or else I would have talked more. hee hee.

There should be a few more MP3s since I've heard from friends claiming they have seen another yellow MP3 on the road mistaking it to be my car. No more than five, but could well be up to five of these MP3s around town.

Plenty of Mazda support down here. Lot of folks from various age groups seem to dig this Protege 5 style. Awesome.....
