I have decided to get a new car, and I'm selling my 1991 Protege DX. It has 129,350 miles on it, which is pretty much average for it's age. I am in Orlando, Florida, and I am willing to deliver myself within about 300 miles. Other methods of delivery can be arranged as well.

I am asking $3000, but that price is extremely negotiable.

I have spent more than five thousand dollars in mechanical repairs and other things on this car in the past 9 months. I will be losing so much money on this deal that it is absolutely incredible, but that just means the buyer will get a good deal.

The only problems are a small transmission fluid leak and the vibration that EVERY 1st gen automatic protege has.

As for the tranny leak, I had it looked at by my friend's dad who is a mechanic, and he said it was something very small. He said it was so simple that he wouldn't even charge me to repair it. I just haven't had time. If you want, I could ask him to tell me exactly what the problem is.

The vibration is a tad bit annoying, but then again, I am way too finicky for my own good. My friends that ride with me in my car all the time told me to shut up about the vibration and that they wouldn't even have noticed it unless I mentioned it...so it must not be as bad as my nutty mind is making it out to be.
