which is better

hey im looking to drop my car ~ 1.25-1.75" and just need to know what would be the best bang for the buck. mx-3 or zx-2 struts with which spirings the suspension tech., the eibach, or the intrax springs. I know all of these have been addressed but I don't think in this manner. any input is appreciated.

I have read here on the board that the zx2 struts with the Eibach springs is a really good setup but the drop is only about an 1"

that should work out well too............I might go with that setup for my car in the future.............either H&R or Eibach springs.....
I heard Intrax are garbage.........

I am aware of that............do you want to go as low as possible ?
If that's the case then go with the 2" drop with the Sprint springs
It will also be a little cheaper.......

yeah........I know how it is ...............I have spent too much money on my car as it is.........dropping it a little would be another $400 for struts and springs and I don't know if I am financialy ready for that yet

In stock form, the front struts only have about 2.5"-2.75" of upward travel, so unless you like ALWAYS being on the bumpstops, go no lower than 1.5" in front.

I use the H&R MX-3 springs (1.5"/1.3" drop F/R), and they ride decent on smooth pavement, but I spend a lot of time on the bumpstops with the numerous freeway bridge jumps in SoCal. I often wish it were a little higher.

i can attest to the Socal bridge jumps...it's an art to remember where they are and to be able to get in the right lane at the right time...let alone travelling unknown routes...i have yet to hit my head on the roof (the lap belt kicks in) but man, it sure jolts the body and car pretty good. i may have even caught air a few times...or so it feels. I'd hate to see what a cut springed ride would feel like....

I happen to like Susp tech springs. I bought them for $155 through www.shox.com I cut an additional 1/4 coil in the front to give it a lower look in front. The ride is not bad at all considering what i payed for them. Its just my opinion. I am developing pics of my 93 so you can see what i mean, but i dont have a scanner so maybe i will send them to darryl for him to post.
