WWE doesn't flow off the tongue NEARLY as good as WWF does..

I'm very disappointed and honestly.. the name has become synomamous with wrestling like kleenex with tissues. It was a dumb idea to change it IMO.

I don't think I'll ever recognize it as WWE...

On that topic tho.. I got my tickets for RAW at Skyreach on May 27!! WOOOOO Not ringside, but oh well.. next time!!

There's actually a legit reason behind the name change. For the past decades, there have been two different "WWF's". The World Wildlife Fund owns the trademark to the WWF brand while the World Wrestling Federation was using the label under an agreement with the Wildlife Fund. Vince McMahon's company was allowed to use "WWF" only within North America, under contract. The contract was breached when WWF.com was opened...which is technically international. The World Wildlife Fund filed a lawsuit and the Wrestling Federation lost its "F".

oh well... i'm starting to lose interest in it again anyway... they've got some lame stuff going on lately. brock and his "beat em till they don't move and have to forfeit the match" gimmick is lame. planet stasiak? 'nuff said. show joining nwo? tons of skill, wasted on "yo, chico" and his dumb *** toothpick. and x-pac... give me a friggin break. there's a lot more stupid **** going on in the wwe that's pretty lame right now.. those are just a couple off the top of my head. oh yeah... and molly and her "i'm so innocent and wholesome" crap. to it all. they need some decent matches, not the soap-opera crap they do now like with Tuff Enuff or whatever that cheap mtv-ridden WWE ripoff of Road Rules is. CRAP I TELL YA.

It took me a few minutes to catch on to that. At first I just thought I heard wrong. Its not quite the same. They have been using wwf for what 30 years. Vince is got enough cash , why not just buy the name.
They have been getting a little lame latly. Splitting in a draft was just a bad idea. Made no sense.
