Need some advice with 2007 Mazda 3 hatchback A/T

Hello, I was just looking for some advice on a vehicle a customer had towed in. It was at another shop for transmission issues. It has the very common P0758 code. The other shop had put a new solenoid in, and 4 DIFFERENT TCMS. They spend thousands of the customers dollars. I’m checking it over and I have verified that the solenoid is working, the tcm has proper signal to the solenoid, the ground is good and not shorting at all. The issue that it is doing is that it basically has very rough shifts and with the check engine light on it won’t really shift into 3rd gear, it will either skip it or just stay in it and act like it’s in neutral. When I clear the check engine light the vehicle will drive completely fine, no issues at all until the check engine light returns. The transmission fluid level is just where it needs to be and very clean. I was looking for any advice any of your had. Thank you.

First, consider checking for any wiring issues or shorts in the harness between the TCM and the solenoid. Sometimes, intermittent electrical problems can cause these symptoms. Also, inspect the transmission fluid https://tropical-casino.com/ temperature sensor, as it can affect shifting behavior if it's reading incorrectly. Lastly, ensure there are no other pending codes that might give clues about related issues. If everything checks out, you might want to look into a potential internal transmission problem or re-evaluate the TCM programming. Good luck!
