Car is in Drive, but doesn't go. Any idea why?
Hello,
I recently got a 2013 Mazda 3 automatic, 79K miles for my daughter. It normally drives great, but today she started it up and put it into drive, but it would not go. Also, the gas pedal was difficult to depress. The engine light went on, as did another, but she can't recall what the other light was. About 10 minutes later, I hopped in and started the car, and all was fine. No engine light and everything functioned fine. I ran a DTC check and no codes came up. One thing to note also is that she noticed a bit of a lurch when she first drove the car earlier in day.
I am wondering if anybody has an idea what the issue is?
