On several occasions, radar cruise control has rapidly decelerated due to forward radar sensing a change that required braking. I have wondered if the brake lights go on so that the traffic behind me can be alerted. Lengthy chat with Mazda USA only led to a reference in the owners manual that did not apply. I assume the brake lights come on, but would like to know for sure.... (2019 hatch, premium, Polymetal/Red)

 

I saw a review that stated they do come on.
