Unhappy 2007 Mazda 3 Stalling

Hi Mazda3Club, I seem to have an intractable stalling issue with my 2007 Mazda 3 2.0L NA I4 Gas.

It stalls after around 20-30 minutes of driving in the middle of driving, not necessarily at stop lights.

I've tried seemingly everything, changed the following in order of changing: battery, spark plugs, the fuel pump, a bad ignition coil, the camshaft and crankshaft position sensors, the oxygen sensor on the exhaust manifold and latest the electric throttle body.

After stalling, the vehicle won't restart until you either wait for an hour or so or pour cold water on the throttle body.

What do you think this could be? I'm at my wits end.

Hi,

I am having same problem with 2008 Mazda 3. If starts working fine after couple of hours. Currently it is showing engine light due to knocking sensor and I think when my car get heat up it also start showing error of Idle air control valve.

Can you please tell me what you did to fix this issue ?

Thank You
