Too start off I've done most of the work myself. I have a 2004 Mazda 3 w/ 2.3L Engine and 5-speed Manual Transmission. I went to work yesterday, and my car started fine. Got to work and as I was parking, the car died. I tried to restart, and it made a very fast whirling noise. I figured the starter needed replacement, I did that still go the whirling noise. Fuel pump works, battery is good. Just no clue on what is happening. Tried a few more starts now it makes a clunking noise upon trying to start it. All fuses look fine. have a Rear Main oil Seal leak so I resealed the Oil Pan 3 days ago with "The Right Stuff" by Permatex. No issues for 3 days, now this Please someone help me determine Problem
