Hid ccfl etc..

Hello all! I am super new to the world of Mazda. I just bought a 2006 Mazda 3S Sedan earlier today and I have no knowledge whatsoever about Mazda. I have a ridiculous amount of questions, however, I won't ask them all here. My main question is simply about the headlights. The one's on my car currently, are nasty. They have moisture inside and they are beginning to yellow on the outside. I am just going to replace them with aftermarket ones and call it good..However, I am curious, if I slap on a pair of ebay projectors and buy an ebay "HID" kit, will it be a painless process?
I have done this before with my previous car..A 97 Civic Ex, ( Rest her soul) but the driving lights were never the same. It was impossible to adjust them because you have to take the headlights out to make the adjustment.
Anyone ever use aftermarket headlights and not have to adjust them?
I would really love to know what to expect.
Thanks.

I don't think ANYone has ever been stoked on the Ebay ones. If I were you, I'd lurk craigslist or some of the other, more popular Mazda clubs for a set of OEM headlights.

If there wasn't moisture inside, I'd recommend just polishing them with one of those Powerball things, but it sounds like they're leaking and ugly on the inside too.

Congrats on the new (to you) car! I'll bet the cornering is gonna surprise you.

Hi and thanks for the reply..yeah, the car turns a lot better than expected. I have another question though. I've been doing some reading and it seems as though some 3's already have HID kits on them. How would I know if mine do or not? Is there a specific model or year that has this? It seems most have the H7 halogen, but some also have HID..It seems weird to me that it would be that way.
Thanks.
