I Bought a 2005 Mazda 3 with a blown 2.0 engine/manual transmission. It actually threw a rod and made a hole through the engine block. To make the story short I bought an engine from a junk yard. They looked up my vin number and told me a 2010-11 engine with f code would interchange and work in my car. The engine only has 30,xxx miles on it so I bought it. Unfortunately there seems to be problems communicating with the PCM. There is no fire, starter does not turn from switch, no fuel pump sound. Is the PCM for the 05 different than the 10-11? Any suggestions?
