I'm a first-time Mazda owner. My new Mazda3 S Touring just clicked over 1,000 miles. Took it to the local dragstrip to test using Stalker radar system. A "no-power-brake" launch netted 7.2sec 0-60 and 15.7 @88.2mph in 1/4-mile. Once the engine is broken in I'll do a comparison and hard launch. So far 30.1 combined fuel economy split about 50/50 city/interstate. Really like new 3's handling and looks. Seats leave a little to be desired, though.
