I was wondering if someone can help me. My speedo stopped working in my 2005 3, so I took the speed sensor out of a tranny I have from an 04 and they are not the same. The one from the 04 has a gear on it and the one from the 05 has no gear. Is there any way I can make this work or do I have to buy one for an 05?

 

I think they are not a good fit with each other. Better get the one suited for your ride.
