fitment help!!! DD:

hey all, so i'm still fresh into the scene and i was just wondering if anyone could help! i bought a set of 17x8 rims (re-drilled to the correct pcd and cb of course) with a 30et. to my knowledge, i don't think it's compatible due to it's offset. however, i've read that various tire measurements/lowering will also effect it from rubbing or not. my wheels are not mounted yet, so if anyone knows what tires are best/ what i'd have to do to make it work, it would be greatly appreciated! i do plan on lowering with coils and i don't mind a bit of poke. i'm also prepared to roll my fender if need be. thanks in advance! You will be slightly "Mexi-Pokin"...

You will have to Roll your Rear Wheel Fenders for sure!.....Depending on Tire Width you might have a slight tire stretch too.

I have 17x7 w/ 35 Offset w/ 215-45-17 tires...I am basically Fender Flush.

I am about 1.8" Low too.

hey thanks!

i don't mind a slight poke, too much though isn't quite my ideal look!

i was recommended that 225/40 is best for my rims. you think that would be okay?

plus, since you're low, do you happen to get any rubbing at all?

Depends how low you are planning to go!...225 tires will fit since they are 17x8...It all on how Low you are going...you might have to even go w/ a 215 Tire etc...

Yup I had to roll the Rear Fenders & get Rear Camber Kit.

I plan to get Coilovers in the future and go even Lower!...And prob go w/ 18" wheels too...

any kind of drop that compliments the overall look is what i'm willing to do.. but more or less around 1.5 inches sounds pretty ideal. (: so would 225 tires work with that?

i mean, since i plan on getting coils anyway, i have a 3 inch range i can always adjust!

If I were you, I'd hold out for a set of 18x8 or 8.5 with an offset of +45 or so. Do it right the 1st time around and don't look back!
Stock MS3 wheels are 18x7.5 with a +52 offset.
