Just about to buy a used 2011 Mazda 3. Petrol 2ltr

At idle theres a loud ticking noise. Usual line that it usual. Is it ? Seems very loud to me and not as loud as other direct injection engines I've heard.

Problem is they say its normal. Obv will be covered for 12 months but I dont want the hassle of getting it fixed etc..

Is there any known issues ? Seen people with problems with Inlet Manifold etc.. but that seems to be on older models.
