I have a full set of front and rear KYB GR-2 gas struts with about 7,000 miles on them. I recently replaced them with Tockico racing struts and don't need them anymore. They're still in good shape, the roads around here are smooth and it took me 2 years to drive those few miles.

These normally sell for around $50-60 each, I'll take $90 for the set. They weigh 45 pounds, so shipping could be expensive. My zip code is 98225 if you want to estimate the cost at www.ups.com.

How much did you have to pay for the Tokico racing struts ???
and where did you get them from ?

 

They're the Ford ZX-2 struts, at $160 for the set. Search in the 1st gen suspension and you'll find lots of references to them.

Yes, I still have them. The ride is good, they're not a performance strut so the they're comfortable and controlled. A nice upgrade from the old, tired struts most of our cars come with!

Too bad you didn't write a couple of days ago, I was just in Seattle yesterday to see Elvis Costello (great concert, BTW). I'm booked solid all this week and next weekend so I can't get too far out of town, can you get up here? Otherwise I could UPS them for about $12, say $100 for the whole set shipped.
