I currently have a 2002 Protege 5 that has 195/50 R 16 summer tires. In winter I have 175/70 R14's that are on rims. I am considering the purchase of a 2004 Mazda 3. Will the winter wheels fit on the M3 ?

 

Well the bolt pattern is the same, though being 14's they won't fit over the brakes on the 3

the 16's might fit but in either case the tires are narrower - so the traction / handling will be affected. You can get rims for about $100/pc plus shipping at tirerack or 1010tires.
