I guess I'll just tell the story first and maybe we can figure it out together..

My system used to work perfectly (stock speakers, subs/amp and a JVC dvd player deck) but the other day I had to take my subs out to carry a drumset. While plugging them back in I think the ground and power might have touched because this caused the music I was listening to at the time (bad idea, I know) to stop. So I restarted my car to check and the deck, amp and sub all turn on/work however I am not getting any audio anywhere; not to the speakers or to the amp. No fuses seem blown unless I missed them. Any ideas?
