How to change a clutch master cyl on a 1st gen

This is just how I did mine. I'm not to be held responsible if you follow this guide and **** something up.

the master cly is located behind the battery. This is how most bays look in that area.

Disconnect the afm and remove the intake piping

Now remove the battery and the battery tray.(It's so dirty back there, just not that nice cs clutch line )

There it is. That bolt I'm pointing to is the outside 12mm bolt. Remove that

Go to the inside under the dash and you'll find the other 12mm bolt that holds the master to the firewall

Remove the 10mm bolt that holds the clutch line to the master and disconnect the line that comes from the brake res to the clutch master(get something to plug the hole in the brake res so you dont lose alot of brake fluid)

[/b] This is all what came with my kit(clutch master cyl,new line that goes from the brake res to the clutch master and new clamps.) All this was 19 dollars at parts plus. Came with a 1 year warrenty so I suspect it will go out 2 days after the warrenty is done but byu that time I will have a nice rebuilt oem mazda 1[/b]

Prime your master cyl then do the steps for removal backwards and it will end up looking like this. Here's the finished product. Only took about 1 hr to do.
