Mazda 3 Performance Help
Yeah, I'm an idiot, I know. I got a nice little 2.0L Mazda 3 (2006) with auto/sport shift and I'm loving the car but regretting not getting the 2.3L engine cuz the 2.0 is a dog (decent MPG's though). I want to start flogging up in the hills and this thing is a dead horse, especially at low end.
I'm also broke (and cheap, too). So, in your proferssional opinions, what is the best perfromance mods for the price for a little 2.0 (aside from buying a 2.3 or a Mazda 6)??? And not a turbo although that may be the best option.....
Thanks- guide through these troubled times.
Steve in California (remember- California has all the smog crap on it).

i would look in air intake then fuel injectors followed up with some basic changing of working towards a nice exhaust mani fold and just keep going from there i mean obviously im not going to do all the work for you but id start with short or cold air intake then move onto the fuel injector part but you also neeed to deide on wether or not its worth it to upgrade or just going out and looking for a mazda 6 or mazda speed 3
