Looking for test car in my area

I know it's a shot in the dark but I'm looking for someone to donate their car for a little while for some product testing. It's pretty extensive but the gains are well worth it.

Basically, I'm looking for someone wanting to double their current power levels and willing to pay (my cost and NO labor) to have it done. When it's done you get to keep everything you've paid for.

Just know upfront that you'll never pass emissions or any visual inspections but you will be the envy of 99% of all other protege owners.

estimated parts cost is right around $3k-3.5k. This is higher upfront because it's all one-off at this point. Bulk orders could get the price down substantially. Parts cost will be more/less depending on how wild you want to get with it.

Sadly, details won't be discussed publicly until the final product is ready. I've learned my lessons. I need a serious donor willing to spend the money to see it through. I'm not willing/interested in putting all of my personal finances on the line for a car I don't own anymore. Sorry.

p.s. For those wondering what I'm doing it is a custom NA power package I've been working on in my spare times for the past few months. I'm about 80% complete with it and just need someone to pony up the dough and test it all out.

if I had the monies, I'd be on it like white on rice in a glass of milk on a paper plate in a snow storm.

muff, you of all people would enjoy what I'm doing. For auto-x this would be the nastiest- fattest power curve a protege has ever seen. Insane top end.

Honestly though, I'm in the process of buying another car to do this on. I guess I'll just sell the car when I'm done with it instead of parting it out but the car I'm looking at is a BEATER...not worth **** but the engine will have about $3k invested in it!

Scooty Puff, you can do it....but you'll have to basically give up using the p5 as a daily because mpg will go through the toilet and it'll NEVER pass emissions...I mean never.

yeah, and I'm not really willing to do that. The p5 IS the daily, I don't really have another one
