Ok This is for any of you who have had, or now have issues with an ill fitting bodykit.

First let me explain mine. I bought my kit from Extreme Dimensions. It is a resin cast, which is basically resin and fiberglass sheets laid over a mold in layers. This thing did not fit for $&!^. So step by step here we go.

First disassembly,
The front and rear bumpers both are quite easy to remove.

There was one thing about the rear bumper, but not too bad.




All in all, not too bad. About two hours total for tear down if you have any experiance at all. It took about that, but I had alot of beer during the process as well......
I'd guess no more than 4 even if you've never done this. If it is your first time. The plastic fasteners holding allot of cars together can be tricky. If your removing and putting them back on, be careful not to break them. If you putting a new kit on, it wont matter so much. The side skirts only have 4 screws. Everything else is plastic, rip it off.

Cutting your bodykit to fit your car. This isn't hard at all, but a mistake here could cost you your kit. So take your time. And wear a breathing mask and eye protection during. Also wear something with long sleves, this is fiberglass and it damn itches. You dont want it in your eyes or lungs. So, long sleves, eyewear, breathing mask. Trust me.

And the rear needed a bit as well.

Ok, continuing from part 1

And now the bane of my existance. This took so long, and was very hard to do, i got into the project and forgot to take photos of the process, sooo sorry guys.

This is the best i can do for what it shoulda looked like. Got it from some random site showing the Raven bodykit. It's very low Rez, but here ya go.

Again heres the other.

The front og the sideskirt wasn't nearly as bad. But still didn't fit well, and will need some putty and sanding.

When I finally managed to get the front and rear (shudders) in a managable place. I noticed the center was buckled a bit. So i drive a single self tapping screw into the center, that will be replaced with a plastic fastener later when the front and rear are completed and ready to paint.


The Shock absorber was a problem for me. I fixed it but....
