I am going to start shopping for a Mazdaspeed3 in the next few weeks and was wondering if there are any standouts as far as Atlanta area Mazda dealers go? I have not heard bad things about some of them, and I am hoping somebody can relay some good experiences and recommendations.

Don't be afraid to play dealers from different markets against each other. I live in B'ham, AL and when I buy a new mazda I have no problems getting on my cell phone and calling Jim Ellis Marietta/Atlanta and putting them on speakerphone.

I'm kinda a dick when I buy a car because I don't like being jerked around. Now they've gotten to the point where I can just walk in and say, "Ellis has it for this, wanna match it or am I taken a drive?"

9/10 times they'll just do the deal to move the unit. If they don't I just drive 3 hours east and give someone else my money. No hard feelings.

Moral of the story.... There is no "good dealership". You just have to have a gameplan and see which one will play YOUR game and not make you play theirs.
