hey guys!

its been a while, and after getting my prelude (and noticing alot of hate for it) i left the forums, but still respect the mazdas and congrats on the new hard top miata for 07 i herd about

to let you know what ive been up to for the last year

i recently traded in my 93 prelude (in late may)
and i bought a 2001 Honda S2000

im not here to brag or start hate mail or anything
just letting you know what ive been up to and checking out what everyone here's been up to

and also for the midwest owners, on fathers day at a track called blackhawk farms is opening the track for us drivers out there.. although there is a speed limit

hope to see some of you there, if you can.. later guys and sorry i just left like that

no, all stock for now
voiding a warrenty is bad
gotta stay stock for 2 years

but i will be re-doing my rims.. stock AP1 rims arnt that bad, but mine are a little previous owner neglected.. gonna go primer black or polished black with chromish outer rim.. then clean the calipers and paint yellow.... i figure its a little rice... but.. i want to go with a black and yellow theme... and everything is stock sooo.. maybe not rice?

after my warrenty is up, looking for either a 2JZ set up or just go turbo on my F20

Bah screw warranties. I never let them stop me, what is the fun in that? Do you really expect the car to be unreliable and need the warranty?

no, i dont expect my car to fail me at all, just having paid a grand to add it on my loan is a b**** just to void it.

ahh, Prime! saw the 6 on your thread, engine is a beast for stock FI
my buddie that previously owned a 01 red S2K is in the market for the turbo'd 6

reason he sold is he f'd his engine with a SC and didnt want to repair

although tempting it is to see what the 6 can do (is this a track challenge?)
i refuse to go fast straight, my philosophy of dragging is "any idiot can hit the gas and go straight, but not many can do the same with turns involved"
i know you just purchased a beast on the track as well!! nice

Good to hear from you again. S2000's are great cars.
You'll never find another forum as nice as this one, though.

The net is full of haters.

yes this site is good, im on S2Ki also

it has some haters and the occasional know it all just as any other forum would
but i find things are more respected on these 2 forums, mazda3club and S2Ki

more or less admire the car and hate the a** hole driver. know what im saying?
instead of hate the car and driver due to how its driven vs personality and how well the car is taken care of. things tend to get a reputation just by the drivers

such as a car joke i remember from ona you guys here [QUOTE] what is the difference between a BMW and a cactus? answer: on a cactus, the ****** are on the outside.[QUOTE]

You'll never hear me hating on any convertible I've owned a vert of one sort or another since I was 16, and will keep driving one till I die.

My last vert was a '99 M3, I wasn't a ***** ... although that car did make me feel like a baller! I miss her :sniff:
