Peeling out question

Peeling out question
Ok so I try to make my tires peel out and they do a little bit but what happens more is the whole front end shakes up and down, that scared me so I stopped.... why is it doing that? I know it would probably hurt something so I dont do it anymore, what would that damage? I was just trying to see how it peels out... and it doesnt too well.

Our cars aren't very good at that .. they're far too underpowered and the lack of a limited-slip differential causes serious wheelhop even if you do have the power(that's the shaking you're more than likely experiencing).

Ya, wheelhop is what it is. 
So its kinda "normal" then? I'm not the only one. But its not a good thing to keep doing I'm sure..??.? No limited-slip means what?? Both wheels turn at the same time?

Yea it's "normal" I guess, and you're certainly not the only one. However, no limited-slip means the exact opposite of what you said. The purpose of LSD (limited-slip differential) is to evenly distribute power between both wheels, that way the engine is putting down the power to both wheels instead of one, thus increasing your traction and eliminating wheelhop that happens under stock conditions.

i have a mazda3, and i find it only happens once in a while, unfortunately when my friend are watching...lol.
i usually get 1 tire hop, then it breaks free.
try doing it on a better paved area, that should work better.
is your car a standard tranny? if it is, just push more gas, then drop the clutch.
if its auto, i dunno, push the brake and gas at the same time and release the brake?
but everycar is different, so that may not work

It depends what tires you have. The low profile tires or the "rubber band" tires I like to call them tend to do that since they are alot harder than normal tires. The best way to peel out (if you drive a manual that is) is to push in the clutch and get your RPM's up to 3-1/2 to 4k then let off the clutch and stomp the gas pedal at the same time.

Improved motor mounts will keep the drive train from moving quite so much - which has then doesn't have traction - so it 'cycles'. Do a search on wheel hop - much more info here and on the web in general.
