I recently purchased an 02 front grille to replace my current grille that had an incident with the trailer hitch of a hummer. I just installed the grille and once finished, I noticed thet the grille I removed is slightly larger. The 02 grille doesn't have as large of a lip at the bottom and is slightly thinner from top to bottom than the 03. I did a little further research and realized that there are two different part #s from Mazda. One with the MPS option and one without. Has anyone else heard of this...oh yeah...and I purchased a P5 grille...could that be the issue?

The P5 front bumper, headlights, and grill are different than the sedans, unless you've got an '01 MP3 or '03 MSP.
