S or GS model? Congrats on the purchase. I've had my '81 since late '80 and can't imagine ever getting rid of it. I have been a Mazda guy ever since.

Its a basic model... S i presume. so far it runs fantastic, the engine was rebuilt 15k ago. for some reason, it overhears when its below freezing, so i am going to check out the thermostat when i get the chance... slight coolant leak... but other than that, it runs fantastic!

just needs interior carpet, shift boot, Ebrake boot, front and rear brake lines, and front rotors.

 

stay on top of that cooling system...rotaries like to overheat....

screw the interior...tub that beeyatch out !
