What's up - from the other side of the world.

Hey everybody.

I am totally new to the forum. I stumbled upon it a couple of weeks ago when i was researching a potential car to replace my old busted one.

Here's the story...

I'm from Denmark and cars over here are quite expensive (taxed @ about 80% on top of the actual value of the car) so when we go shopping for a new ride it often ends up being a slightly used one instead to keep the cost down. I had seen the Protegé5 and fell in love with it instantly. I found one that was decent (a 2003-model) and took it for a test drive. Fabulous. But i wanted to learn a little bit more about the car so i googled it. Now over here the Protegé is called a 323F so i had a little trouble finding danish articles/forums about the specific car, but my wife (who is canadian) suggested to do the search for a Protegé5 instead. Bingo. I found this cool site and it actually has a lot of interesting stuff that helped me make my decision.

So now we get to enjoy the sporty comfort of our very own MP5 every day... I love it.

It is still stock but i might get the urge to add some gimmicks and stuff after seeing some of your cars.

Actually i think they did. I looked at 4 different ones before going for the silver one and they all had that cover.

Thanks. I opted for the silver instead of a black one since it won't look so dirty if i forget to wash it for a while...

The headlight washers are standard, but they use wiperfluid by the bucketload when you activate them.

I love the rims on your P5, that black/silver thing works great. I also noticed the difference in the way the blinkers are placed. Mine has the blinkers on the side of the fender (almost by the door) and yours are placed up front by the front bumper, that looks so much cooler...
