What are the best spark plugs for '01 Protege 2.0? Or what are the OEM ones? Are they the NGK's? Do you have a number for them?

And we can't really upgrade or replace the plug wires right? They are probably a dealer item?

NGK ZFR5F-11 extended reach. Stock are NGK, dunno what type but I bet if you do a search on the forum you would find out. This has been discussed a LOT, as a matter of fact there is a thread about it about 8 spots below yours in this same section. Like this one .

Keep in mind that n/a Proteges dont really have massive top end speeds. Unless you think the plugs are misfiring, you may not notice any difference with new plug wires. Better off with just new plugs.
