you cant call him "eibach" unless you've seen him handle and it's better than average puppies or "stock dogs".

p.s. that makes about 14 nipples in your house now! hahaha

A pitbull huh? Yikes...kid eater definitely fits.
Hmmm...Kawaii is kinda cool.

I'll be getting a Doberman Pinscher when I get my house in 4 months.
I'm going to teach him his commands in Jamaican....even though my gf wants to do it in traditional German.

Aww, he's so cute! My brother has a pit and although I've never met her(He lives in AZ), he says she's so nice. My aunt also has a half pit and he is very nice. Crazy, but nice!

Don't have a name suggestion...

My daughter's boyfriend has a pit bull. One of the friendliest dogs I've ever been around.
I like the name 'Sprocket'

Well having been around them for as long as I have, then going into feline rescue, Now comming back to dogs. I can tell you Pitbulls are not "kid eaters" They are a loyal dog that have gotten a bad rep from some rather lowlife types that see a easy way to make money with an "icon" type dog. Bite statistics prove that Any dog, treated harshly or trained to attack, may bite a person. Any dog can be turned into a dangerous dog. The owner most often is responsible -- not the breed, and not the dog.

The most horrifying example of the lack of breed predictability is the October 2000 death of a 6-week-old baby, which was killed by her family's Pomeranian dog. The average weight of a Pomeranian is about 4 pounds, and they are not thought of as a dangerous breed. Note, however, that they were bred to be watchdogs! The baby's uncle left the infant and the dog on a bed while the uncle prepared her bottle in the kitchen. Upon his return, the dog was mauling the baby, who died shortly afterwards. ("Baby Girl Killed by Family Dog," Los Angeles Times, Monday, October 9, 2000, Home Edition, Metro Section, Page B-5.)

An irresponsible owner or dog handler might create a situation that places another person in danger by a dog, without the dog itself being dangerous, as in the case of the Pomeranian that killed the infant (see above).

Any individual dog may be a good, loving pet, even though its breed is considered to be likely to bite. A responsible owner can win the love and respect of a dog, no matter its breed. One cannot look at an individual dog, recognize its breed, and then state whether or not it is going to attack.

There is also a website that has been complied of "Dog Bite/Kill/Maims" Yes PitBulls ARE on there, But you will also find golden retrievers, shelties, border collies(lassie), alot of dogs that are in the public spotlight as "mans best friend" I will post this later, i had a link but I think i lost it.

I am not trying to jump on anyone. I have had worse bites from a poodle than any big dog I have rescued/helped/ worked with or owned and right now these wonderful guys have a bad reputation and the last thing we need is people looking at puppies and saying "kid eater" cause of thier breed. That is like saying anyone with blonde hair / Blue eyes from German decent is a Jew Killer. It just doesn't make sense.

For great information of these guy go to http://www.understand-a-bull.com/

i agree while some dogs are definitely more aggressive in nature, it also has a lot to do with the nuturing of the dog. ive seen my fair share of stupid dog owners.
