I think it will fit if your car is an RX7.

i think you might be able to fit it into a protege if you take out the rear seats... how far are you planning on transporting it with the protege?

Yeah sure go for it.
It swaps right in.

Take it to the dealer and tell them to put it in. (get back to us after that)

guys.....lets not be spitefull.

orange78, If you have to ask this question you have NO idea how much work is involved in a project of this magnitude. There is a difference between a "task" and a "project". It sounds like you'd be ok with tasks but projects like this are best left to professionals with super deep pockets.

Hey guys, here's a little update...when I get back from my 4 month deployment, I plan on getting 2 Miatas or 1 miata & a FC (prefer a T-II, but I know the odds of finding a decent one). Anyhow, I'm going TT on the project Miata...well, that's the plan...there's enough space & the cost should be in my budget, so says Kevin the Miata master...will it work? Sure...there's probably going to be lag like a bugger though, but hey, how many ppl can say they have a TT Miata? Hee hee.

No.

I'm serious.

We're going to actually attempt to do this & for hopefully under $3k including the donor car & spare parts from various junk yards etc.

you mean a 13b-rew TT? in a miata? it's been done SEVERAL times before. I even saw a dealership who was doing these conversions and selling them new on the lot. It's not impossible and you'll be able to tough your way through it with Kevin.

You'll be doing better than most if you can get a decent 13b-rewTT complete with wiring harness and ecu with decent compression/turbo/fmic for less than $2500. Remember when I shopped around for the 20b to swap into my 67 Mustang GT? Costs are pretty high on something like this.

Oh no, we were going to go the home brew way...we were not not going to go w/the 13b.
I never knew it was possible to do though....hmmm...I searched online for ever last night & couldn't find any info on any TT Mx-5s....got any info I can check it out @ Matty?
Thnx.
