Magnetic Oil/Tranny Plugs

I searched and found these two threads, but neither one lists where to potentially buy one.

I did check on eBay and I found this eBay but I'm not sure if that would really work, besides it's kinda pricey too. No tranny plugs at all though ...

Anyone have any idea who might sell them for our cars?

P.S. Can a mod rename the thread so it's spelled right, that way if anyone searches in the future this actually comes up. I accidentally typed in mangetic instead of magnetic... thanks!

I'd just go to your local parts store (advance Auto is good :wink and have them look up a new plug for you...(they can find tranny plugs also) and see if they can get you the magnetic ones.

This is a good mod for the DIY-er.

Another thing that works really good is to get a small earth magnet from a local hardware store and pull out the plug a put it on the end and reinsert the plug. It will never come off the pug on its own and it will cost you about $2

I might have to do that ... I searched everywhere on the internet and all my local auto part stores with no luck. I figured the magnet wouldn't go anywhere since it's attracted to metal but I don't really wanna risk it. Oh well I'll figure somethin out.
