Need for Speed: Most Wanted

Anyone played it yet?
I have and Im addicted to it.
The gameplay is great, I am never bored on that game, the cars sound great, the sense of speed is perfect.

The Variety of cars is really good....going from a Chevrolet Cobalt SS to a Porsche Carrera GT to a Mercedes SLR Mclaren..

Im at about 30% and There are only a few things missing....

I dont like that there are only RX-7 and RX-8s from mazda.
Why not a 3, or a 6? or even a Protege5??
I have also noticed there are no Hondas, may be a good thing, but hey, why the sudden change?

The last time I saw a mazda in a game besides the Rotary twins was Forza, which has the 3hatch and the MSP...

oh well...

for those who have played it, or heard of it.
what do you think about NFS:MW??

Its got better gameplay than forza, IMO, but Forza gets it in the graphics area..
Juiced...I think Granturismo 2 was better than juiced, so i think NFS:MW eats juuiced alive, the handling and phyisics are so horrible I could hardly play the game, sorry but i hated it.

thats the only thing that gets me about NFS:MW I wish the graphics were better, nothing some high quality cables cant fix...

I take that back about the Graphics not being great on NFS:MW, i was playingon the Big Screen down stairs and I was looking im like...hm...this looks pretty dang good, so im completly satisfied now..

My bro had flat out on his "modded" xbox, having games stored on harddrives makes loading alot faster, it looked and sounded good, but he said he didnt like the gameplay or something...but I liked it..

NFSMW is easily one of the worst racing games made, but then again EA cant make a game to save its life. The physics is terrible, its like the cars are driving on sticks. If you know anything about driving forget it becuase it will only mess you up.

Its alot like nfsu 2 but worse. The music is also horrible EA doesnt allow the xbox to use stuff off the hdd even though its clearly there. So you have to listen to the same 3 songs in a never ending loop even after turning all all the other ones.

The very worst part about this game (and any ea game) is that when you get near the end each race starts taking 20 minutes with the most horribly cheating ai ever. The AI is rigged so that no mater what happens they will always be by you, If you pass them theyll speed up magicly if they pass you they drive slower. THe cop chases are also horrible at the higher difficulties.

Forza is a much better game in everyway.

I got bored with Forza, theres nothing exciting about it, I mean sure the cars drive just like real life and it looks good, but I got bored with it.

Imo, I think that MW is alot better than NFSU2, NFSU2 seemed almost like the game is never ending...the game yes felt like races became 20 minutes long..wait...i think one time was a 12 minute...but I quit playing it at 50% completion...

I just cant wait till my bro finally gets his 360 that he has had paid for, for a hwile now, and see how PGR3 does..

Haha, damn dude you think the races in underground were too long? Haha, yeah you're not gonna enjoy the later levels of MW. I played it for a while, got to about 65-70%, then gave up and returned it. That game gets so ******* ridiculously hard at those later levels it just wasn't worth dealing with the crappy phyics and mediocre everything else to finish the story line.

Just to give you an exampl of how difficult it gets, for #5 on the black list, you have to get over 1,000,000 bounty points to race him, and by #3, it increases to over 2 million. And I dont mean what you already have plus a few hundred thousand, I'm saying if you have 2,000,000 when you beat #6, you have to have 3,000,000 to race #5. It's insane.

That does sound ridiculous ... I just started playing it two days ago and I love it! I don't care about the physics and how realistic it is, if I want that I'll play GT4 or Forza, I play Need For Speed cuz it's a fun game! I just don't know about having to get all those bounty points ... I might have to give up right about that time and switch to another game on my hard drive!

I just got the demo for PC.

I have to agree that the physics are not the best and it is none to realistic (plowing through cars with no damage)

But man it sure is fun to play. would have been nice if they would have combined better physics with damage (like with Porsche unleashed) and then give you the option to pull into a garage and get it fixed.

oh well still fun, still deciding if I should shell out the bucks and buy it.

I found out that you can also make the car handle more realisticly by "subtracting" bars from the steering and handling in the performance settings.

you can also make it do a quick rev to keep from losing RPMs while shifting pump the gas once or twice and the RPMs will jump into the redline without hitting the RPM limmiter, ive done this in my porsche and RX-8 and Ive noticed big differences in top speed and accel.

for those that play the game.

I still think the audio is incredible!
