hmm, was that a ranger or F-150? because I had a ranger and swapped in a XR4Ti engine into it. It was pretty quick if you could keep the rear end from hopping off the ground (stupid leaf springs)

i thought about that too...it was a ranger...but damn....what a sleeper if it had a xr4ti engine in it...shitty looking paint, toolbox in the back,rusty, steel wheels,stock exhaust

you can find useable XR4Ti engines from just about nay junkyard for a few hundred bucks. Find one with a solid turbo and you just bolt on and go. Don't even need the ecu in most cases!
