I finally broke down and ordered the cd of my pics from the Hallett (as previously posted). The professional photographer got some angles that no one else did. Here are a few of them.



I was looking for body roll, but I didn't see much of it in any of the pics.

 

This has got to be one of my favorites. I call it "crawling up the Miata's ****". He started out behind me and I lapped him!! I passed him right after this corner.

you all are lucky, We dont have anything that is fun with cars around here, except a drag strip thats about an hour away from here, or so i haev heard, but the way they talk theres no friendly competition, its always biting at each others necks the way it was told to me...*sigh*

 

You guys can always come out here and go to our track days. They have them practically every month, weather permitting.

In fact, it would be neat to have a meet up here because the road course actually has places for camping/RVs.

 

Hmmm, my girlfriend has told me we WILL be getting away for a weekend when I get home, for some respite from the kids (for her). Now I just have to figure out a) a good excuse for going to Okalahoma, b) how to make it seem like a good idea for me to drive my car on a road course!

 

They don't have their 2006 calendar of events up yet, but I'll keep checking and maybe post it in the motorsports/racing section if anyone is interested.
