Hey fellas. I'm new here. I don't actually own a Mazda. I'm into the V8 RWD scene, but my buddy has an 03 Protege. I drove that car and MAN it has some excellent handling capabilities. Anyway, I just thought i'd say hi and check out the forum a little bit.

Thanks for the welcome. Although I have nothing against them, i'll probably never get an import. I'm all about RWD and V8s, particularly the Small Block Chevy. They just have so much more mod potential in my opinion. I drive a 94 Caprice. I know a couple'la guys that have basic bolt-ons, ported heads/cam and run mid to low 13s(in a 4000lb + car). That's what I love most about them.

However, imports are better for handling and GAS MILEAGE! AHHH! My car gets bad gas mileage. I'd love to drive a Miata. I've heard alot about them and their handling.

 

I know a couple of SS impalas that runs 12s, but they are Super Charged. I like the room in them. But damn trying to find a parking spot is hard.
